(For example -- where to find the DVN supported LOCKSS plugin; how to install it; how to configure it to harvest a dataverse of choice)

Need this by 5/1 for IASSIST course dev.

Wouldn't this be Leonid's ticket since this was his functionality?

Per earlier discussion, a documentation note for this has been added to the Appendix of the Installers Guide, under "Using LOCKSS with DVN".
This has been our standard location for sysadmin-kind of documentation. If we end up having to add more of such, it may warrant creating another guide, separate from the installation manual.

(Gustavo, could you please change the status of this issue to "QA" - thanks).

Discussed briefly with Leonid. My purpose in creating this ticket was to add documentation that explains the dv admin option in the UI for dv admin options:
Edit LOCKSS Harvest Settings Enable LOCKSS Harvest, define licensing terms and harvest settings

Leonid's doc in the appendix is very useful but focuses more on the back end LOCKSS set up rather than the dv level.

I'm sending back to Leonid after talking it over and he will also add the dv level doc to the dv admin section of the users guide.
Btw, there is a network level version of this only without some of the business logic needed at the dv level

OK, added the dataverse-level documentation to the Dataverse Administration guide; it's at the end of the document, in the Enabling LOCKSS access to the Dataverse section:

http://guides.thedata.org/book/enabling-lockss-access-dataverse

Please review; if you can think of a better way of describing this, please feel free to edit the page.
This stuff is a little bit confusing (the whole business of defining access on multiple levels...); but I'm hoping this functionality will not be frequently used, except by fairly advanced users.

P.S. so yes, it looks like I can move documentation issues between queues now.

Reviewed doc.

OK, looks good. Not sure how much detail people need but this explains the idea behind it, some limitations and where to go to configure it.

Closing ticket.
